Stephanie Jordeson

Associate Winemaker

Stephanie is our Associate Winemaker here at Eco Terreno. Growing up in Rocklin, she was inspired by her father to go into winemaking, becoming the only 5th grader in her school who said they wanted to go into the profession. Her passion eventually lead her to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, where she graduated with a BS in Enology and a minor in Agricultural Business. Stephanie has always been interested in every facet of the industry, leading her from harvests in the vineyards to more science-based positions in laboratories, and then on to tasting rooms and restaurants where she honed both her service and tasting skills. She's even worked harvests abroad, most notably in Australia and New Zealand.

As our Associate Winemaker, Stephanie works closely with our founder and head winemaker Mark Lyon, as well as our vineyard and administration teams. Moving seamlessly between the vineyard and the office, she always ensures that our products are made with the philosophy that good wine starts in the soil and that we adhere to that central ideology in all parts of the winemaking process.

Stephanie has also found her passion in the regenerative practices we use at Eco Terreno, although she's always been motivated to protect the environment. She's proud to say that she always looks for the reusable option when it comes to convenience products, and you can guarantee that she will always eat all of her leftovers. "Waste not, want not; support local and sustainable. These are some of my favorite mottos to live by. I'm honored to work for a company that has philosophies similar to my own, and I'm so proud of our efforts to protect and respect the earth and how that level of quality is reflected in the wines we create." We’re so grateful to Stephanie for always bringing to the table her endless curiosity and her endless humor.
