Kevin's journey into wine started in his early 20s, enjoying high sugar, inexpensive wines until a trip to Pismo brought him into a random wine shop where he did a flight tasting. Kevin left that shop with a million questions about the winemaking process and different grape varietals. In 2025, he decided to expand his knowledge and received his WSET Level 2 certification. Though he was eager to continue learning, Kevin decided to pause his pursuit of a Level 3 certification and instead gain some actual work experience, working at Vino Volo in the SFO Airport before joining the Eco team.

Outside of wine, Kevin works in nonprofit advocacy and policy, primarily in the areas of labor and energy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Portland and a Master's in Public Policy from Mills College. In Kevin's free time he is usually binge watching a show, getting together with friends and family, and of course drinking wine.
