Jose discovered his passion for vineyard work while still in high school, spending his summer breaks working for VinePro. After graduating, he continued with VinePro for another year before joining the Valdez family, where he worked as a seasonal vineyard team member during harvest for three years.

He then expanded his experience with vineyard management at Vino Vid, where he spent two years gaining valuable experience and deepening his knowledge of vineyard operations. Afterward, he joined Eco Terreno as a Vineyard Team Member. Over the past nine years, his dedication, expertise, and commitment have led him to his current role as Vineyard Manager.

His favorite part of the growing season is pruning, a task he enjoys for its precision and its impact on the health and quality of the vines. When he's not in the vineyard, you'll likely find him fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
